What’s the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard provides a flight itinerary document showing your planned flights, without creating an airline booking.
Premium includes an unticketed airline reservation and a booking reference (PNR). Where the airline supports lookup and an airline record locator is available, you, consular staff, or airline representatives can check the reservation while it remains active. Airline-website verification is not guaranteed.
What is a PNR, and how do I check it?
A PNR is the booking reference that identifies your airline reservation. Premium includes an airline reservation and this reference. Standard does not include an airline booking or a PNR.
If an airline record locator is supplied, try the airline’s booking page with that code and the traveler’s surname. Some airlines do not display held, unticketed reservations online.
An airline representative or consular officer may be able to check the reservation with the airline. The hold is time-limited and may be released early. It is not a paid ticket, and visa approval, boarding or entry is not guaranteed.
If you cannot find it, check the reference, surname and expiry first. If you still need help, contact us with your order reference.
What is a “dummy ticket” for a visa?
People use this term for a flight itinerary or a temporary flight reservation submitted with a visa application. Check what you are buying: a document showing travel plans and an actual reservation held with an airline are different products.
Do embassies accept flight reservations for visas?
Some visa checklists ask for a reservation rather than a paid ticket. For example, the Dutch Schengen tourism checklist asks for a travel reservation in your name or another document showing your plans. Match your documents to the official checklist for your visa and application location. The visa authority assesses whether they meet its requirements.
Can I use a reservation as proof of onward travel?
Check your destination and airline’s rules before relying on a temporary reservation at check-in or a border. A reservation is not a paid onward ticket. For example, New Zealand’s visitor guidance describes a ticket to leave or proof of funds to buy one, subject to your visa conditions.
Do hotel documents reserve a room?
Hotel documents show your accommodation plans. They do not hold a room or confirm payment. Check your visa checklist and arrange any required hotel booking separately.
How long is a Premium flight reservation valid?
Premium reservations are held for a limited period. Check the actual expiry provided with your reservation; airlines may release holds early.
Does a hotel reservation document pay for my stay?
No. The hotel document shows your planned accommodation details; it is not a prepaid hotel stay. Check the accommodation evidence required by your visa authority and arrange your stay separately.
